It’s fantastic that everyone’s hard work has been recognised by festival goers. We hope that the second Temple House Festival, which will take place from 10-12 June 2011 will be an even greater success.”
The European Festival Awards are run by Festival Awards Ltd, an independent company who produce the Festival Awards Europe and the UK Festival Awards and Conference. The Awards are a chance for the hard work of the festival industry to be recognised, both by fan voting and through judging panels made up of experts.
The majority of the Awards are voted for by the general public through the online platform. The remaining Awards are decided by panels of journalists and other industry experts. In order to create a level playing field for events, no matter what their capacity, voting is weighted based on capacity and the number of tickets sold.
Editors Note: Early bird tickets for the 2011 Temple House Music & Arts Festival (June 10th - 12th 2011) will go on sale in February.
