Stephanie Rainey is an exciting talent bringing something new and distinct to the Irish pop/rock scene. In March this year Stephanie released her debut single “THE ONE”. The track features soaring choruses, pure, emotionally driven vocals backed by glorious jangly guitars and a full on rock band led by Stephanie herself. Her sound could be mistaken as coming from a major American production company - not Stephanie's home studio in the idyllic grounds of an old church where she has spent the last year working with some of Cork's finest musicians alongside Gary Keane on production duties. A graduate of the CSN music course in Cork which counts Mick Flannery, O Emperor and Fred amongst its past students this amazing new talent is about to erupt on to the scene. Stephanie's eagerly awaited second single 'GO' is due for release this June along with an Irish tour promising to deliver an array of exhilarating live performances from Stephanie and her band. Stephanie Rainey is definitely one to watch in 2011.
