The Kanyu Tree are a three-piece from Salthill, Co Galway, in the west of Ireland.

They are influenced by Prince, Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac to name but a few.

Their album was co-produced by Ali Shaheed Muhammad from A Tribe Called Quest.

It is due for release later this year.
