Heathers

HeathersHeathers are acoustic pop duo and twin sisters Ellie and Louise Macnamara from Dublin.

Their debut album ‘Here, Not There‘ has garnered serious praise amongst both fans and media alike, and following a very successful Irish debut, the album was released in the UK and worldwide from January 2011.

Following two month-long tours of America, and having supported Kimya Dawson of ‘The Moldy Peaches’ , Heathers were personally invited to join Paolo Nutini on selected UK and Ireland dates after he saw them perform in May 2010. The great reactions to their album led to Heathers’ being invited to perform at CMJ festival in New York and at Canadian Music Week in Toronto. They have also performed mainstage at Ireland’s largest music festivals; Oxegen and Electric Picnic - along with several others throughout the Summer of 2010, including 20,000 people at the Opening Ceremony of Special Olympics 2010.

The girls were also selected by Ireland's largest national pop radio station 2FM to represent Ireland at Eurosonic 2011 in the Netherlands leading to numerous European and UK festival bookings this coming summer.
