Electric Penguins

A project born of a mutual love of 70's instruments and progressive electro legends, Electric Penguins have been dubbed "the coolest band in Ireland today" by Hot Press Magazine. The follow up to the band's critically lauded 2007 debut arrived in late 2010 entitled "II". Self-produced and garden shed recorded, the album features the folksy love song to London Highgate Hill and the kraut-club inspired combo-track Airships/Soundproof 45. Eno-like melodic soundscapes abound. The group are named after the password for Paul McCartney's Cavendish Square pad in the 60's, in case you were wondering!
