Environmental Policy

LEAVE NO TRACE

  1. Temple House Festival is situated in 1000 acres of beautiful land, including a working farm, (which is not part of the festival site). We wish to impress upon our patrons the need to act responsibly in terms of litter and waste and encourage a ‘leave no trace ‘ policy.
  2. A working farm means lots of sheep so there is a NO GLASS policy for fear of injuring them with broken bottles.
  3. Put rubbish in the bins provided and separate recyclables.
  4. Pay particular attention to disposing of plastic cups and cigarette butts into the receptacles provided
  5. We are working with a reputable company for waste and recycling.
  6. Cigarette butts are the bane of any festival, and we would strongly encourage smokers to carry a personal cigarette ashtray of some sort.
  7. Take your tents home with you please! The campsite is not a dumping ground. Treat it well, like your mate's back garden.
  8. Everybody can do their bit to leave a clean and tidy venue. The sheep like it that way.
